You see the occasional spike here and there when we’ve gotten linked to on some story. The terrain in Ashes of the Singularity is procedurally generated. This opens the door to randomly generated maps in the future despite being so large and so detailed.

Historically, I've done most of my work on weekends or on time off.  Regular business hours is when I do management, budgeting, meetings. It's in my off hours that I actually get to code and do "stuff". And I tell ya, nothing sucks the desire to work faster than a visit to the forums where hyper-entitled man-children bitch endlessly about their $10 to $50 purchase.

The Beta 3 series begins the actual “game phase” of Elemental’s public beta process.  This is where the game starts to come together as an actual game rather than a piece of software. Beta 3 will include the rough draft of the user manual as well as the game launcher.
