Stardock May 2019 Magazine, Im kind of interested in the unannounced software that makes games.  It should be an interesting ride..  When Beta Testers are needed perhaps I can be included.

As for how I find out about software, it is usually from things I subscribe to, like Stardock mag, or Steam announcements or word of mouth.

My 2 cents.

I use RSS feeds from all the major software vendors as well as the RSS feeds from  Software sites  like Cnet, FileHippo, FileHorse and the like. I tend to use RSS directly from manufacturers more often as  I am really cautious about the BULLSHIT politics that are being  dumped onto everything.

Make great software. Leave the social commentary out of it.

Want me to dump you in a heartbeat?  Push a political agenda (doesn't matter what the agenda is.. I don't care)

Make great software and keep your opinions to yourself?   You will keep me as a customer.

Cheers

I would love to be included in beta testing.

Please consider me for Beta testing for your game developer software. It sounds quite intriguing! Thank you for keeping us in the loop on this new potential product; I've been -quite- pleased with all of my Stardock software. I've been an avid Galactic Civilizations fan since the OS/2 days, and OD runs on my trusty laptop.

Thank you!

I learn about new software from Majorgeeks.com.  It's an amazing resource for all kinds of software.  I would love to see Stardock software submitted there as well.  The site is run by a great team of guys.

That sounds really interesting to use/play/test that software.  Since the early and easy 'xxx Constructor Set' games on the C64 and Amiga, that ease of creation hasn't really been available.

I'd be interested in the "game for making games" for my kids. They've been making their own stuff in Scratch and Roblox. They really like the remix feature in Scratch that lets them fork/edit/share from their friends or from interesting games that they find.

I would be interested in taking a look at how the software works and what is possible. I have no game dev experience although I am a graphic designer so would like to explore how the games can be visually edited.

I usually find out about new software these days (more specifically software like Deskscapes 10) on the Steam platform. Other software I usually find out by e-mail newsletters like the one that brought me here or various other website that aren't as popular as Download.com

The game within the game.  I like it!

Please consider my request for beta testing.  I've been a fan of Stardock software forever.  I think I even dropped off a resume back in 2005 (that's how much I loved Stardock & GC I).  Working down the street from you guys at one time was pretty cool...and then you moved...then my company moved to Novi.  Still love ya though.

-Thank you

I miss the old Pinball/Music/etc. construction Set games! Would love to beta test, and I think my teen boys would too.

ETA: regarding the discussion question, I discover games via word of mouth in online games (WoW mainly) or Steam discovery/ads. I find new productivity software usually when I'm looking for advice on solving a particular problem.

My first computer was a Commodore 64, so my formative gaming experience was with game similar to you the ones your game making software creates. Given the ability to customize the creations, the software seems like it will be a lot of fun and I am very interested in helping beta test it.

I would love to be included in the beta test for a game that makes games , I've always aspired to use game maker but find it a bit over my head. I also love 16 bit style games like FTL or Halcyon 6 , I also have the Star control 1 , 2 ,3 pack that came with Origins .

Looking forward to seeing this project .
