Brad Wardell's site for talking about the customization of Windows.
We're back!
Published on March 21, 2005 By Frogboy In WinCustomize News

T-man and Nakor have successfully migrated the new servers over.  Hopefully things will soon be significantly faster and more reliable than before. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be able to set up new servers.  In case you're wondering, the colo we were at was literally out of electrical power that they could spare to new servers. So as all of the Stardock servers got busier, there was not much we could do to speed things up other than try to optimize code further and further.

Now we can look forward to faster and more reliable service. This speed increase was brought to you by WinCustomize premium subscribers! Thank you very much!

Everything seems to be goin good so far guys. But I DO have one thing I would like to ask you... Before the move, I could see everything without having to scroll left or right. Now it seems as if the site is only in some resolution much higher than my 1024x768. Is this temporary? Or am I hallucinating?

Visitor Hazylunarrain  ...most pages 'should' look OK at 1024x768.....now and then an image may cause you to scroll...eg the desktop thread...

Strange - I use 800x600 and rarely do I have to scroll!

Same thing happens to me a lot. Usually I assume it has to do with large graphics, but it also happens while reading forums. I've also had it happen while in the middle of typing a response in the forums.

I use 8x6 as well and rarily have to scroll..I have noticed in 1 or 2 threads tho I have had to...just odd..no biggie.

Zero.

I noticed some broken images after updating my honorific on the "thanks, update saved" screen.

It also seems that the issue about topics that I've read still being marked as new posts is rearing it's ugly head again.

I have had trouble downloading forums, comments, and getting on the site (briefly). I have also received the server error again, several times.

I also just got this when trying to access my personal web site. I am not complaining, I just want you to know.

No more error pages. Great job (hope this will use for some time, cause Wincustomize community seems to increase in number everyday ).
