Gatokatcha

Did you try to strip out the graphic options? maybe one of then is preventing the game from running.

I only have 1 graphic card on my pc

I meant if dx11 version still works , start it, and bring the graphic options to their lowest level. I guess both version are sharing the same options.

When is the 61 patch going to be released?  It said early this week and it is Thursday now.  Ok, I'm a little excited about getting my hands on the patch.

I have been playing like 1 or 2 games a day when I have time.  Still trying to get use to the game.  It has been a long time since I have played Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (FA).  I know that this is not the same game.  But I really enjoyed that game.  I even wrote the AI Chooser program to be able to select the Sorian AI.  My son recently started playing FA and made a video which was posted up on youtube.  It got more hits then what I thought it would get since the game is so old.  Just goes to tell you how good of a game it is if people are still playing it.

I hope that AotS improves on it.

What I would like to see is:

1) Shorter games, An hour or longer game is just to long, would like to see the average games be in the 40 min mark.

2) To be able to get up into the T3 Units fights faster, to me this is where the fun is.

3) When zoomed out, it is hard to tell what kind of units you are controlling.  Also it might make sense to change the scaling of the T1, T2, T3 so that it is easier to tell them apart.

4) This might just be me, but sometimes I find it hard to tell an enemy verses my units.

I have been watching a few videos of AotS to learn from other players.  I have not found a good video of where a person that is playing knows what they are doing.  Most just spam units but don't understand how to upgrade.  I don't really understand the upgrade either so was hoping to learn something from a video.  If anyone knows of a good video to watch please send me a message.  Maybe if I get good enough, I will make a video or if I teach my son, maybe he will make one.  He is a lot better at talking and playing at the same time.  It is really hard to focus on multiple control points while talking and explaining what you are doing.

Love the game so far.
