I won't take part in the discussion about the content of the suite (would be a bit harsh for some people that are absolutely ungrateful to this site and what was,is and will be done here) but I guess this will appear in the file --> volumes menu of skinbrowser, right ?

Joe, Alexandrie made the WinCustomize premium skin and I can assure you it took more time and effort that the Corona skin.

And it also includes a complete set of new icons that are absolutely fantastic. Alpha blended icon support up to like 72x72 (perhaps higher, haven't tried).

It also comes with a pretty nify ObjectBar theme that makes use of hot keys and a nice menu skin.

The quality of the skin though is really good, it may not suit your tastes but it is still very good.

The suite will be available shortly and it's in .xptheme format (i.e. install WinStyles).

Ok, I'll refine my claim. I was purely referring to the WB component of the theme. When I was referring to lack of quality earlier, I was actually referring to attractivness and strong visual difference from standard Luna variants.

You are absolutely right in that it is a matter of taste, I apologize for deriding its technical quality.

A separate question, why are large parts of the Logika suite ($10) available for free? This especially makes no sense for people like me who only use WindowBlinds, and LogonStudio. Perhaps I'm wrong about this, but unless people like me are willing to support the site by buying it, why would I pay for something that's also available for free (unless it's an English translation of the suite )?

The WindowBlinds part of the Logika suite isn't free.

Ok, it was when I got it (or at least I got it for free). I stand corrected.

Jobeleca i did not subscribe for the suites (they are just a bonus) and if you do not wish to subscribe that's fine too.

I was ready to subscribe before there was mention of the suites, Because i happen to like Wincustomize... And i have downloaded one or two files here and there

There was no need of me to make the subscription to the skin browser as i am also a subscriber to odnt... and Wincustomize was not about to cap my downloads.

To be honest wincustomize and Deviantart are the only skin sites i like.. skinz.org was my favorite but since they walked out they have never been the same... even now

I am happy stardock created wincustomize to plug the big hole skinz.org made, And since i like this site i subscribed to support it.. The suites are just a cool bonus.

Now back to the icons (Alpha blended icons) what about us poor boy's with 98se that has a browser subscription will there be icons for us? boo hoo heh heh

Ok, I'll start afresh. Entilza, the reason(s) you mentioned are why I intend to subscribe sometime soon (within a month or two). As for why I haven't subscribed already, it's purely an issue of not having money to throw around until I get a new job.

The point I started out with is that while this is good skin, I expected better (or maybe I should say more) of a premium skin.

My other point is that for people that don't really care about the site itself, there needs to be better premium content (skins, etc.) for Joe Blow to plunk down his cash.

All of the Silver Plate Icons have 256 48x48 32x32 and 16x16 vesions. But the dont look as good as I would like. All those curves... But they are there.

I must admit that I don't find that WB so great looking. No, let me rephrase this. I find it good looking, but it doesn't stand out or strike me as innovative or different, as a lot of other Alexandrie skins do. But I agree, it's a matter of tastes.
And although it may not have taken Alex so much time to make, I find the Corona skin very nice. I know it's a port of a WMP skin, but I don't have WMP9, so this interface is new stuff to me.
But this is not meant as an insult to Johanne. She is extremely talented and I like 80% of what she makes. It's just that this one falls in the 20% to me. Sorry.

Brice - Do you have Winstlyes? If you don't, then you need to get it
If you just have WindowsBlinds then you can rename the XPAgustus.XPtheme file to XPAgustus.wba and use this file for WB.

As for the skin itself, it is a well made skin but it looks a lot like the Luna skin itself. Personally I would prefer Alexandrie's other skins than this one.
