Brad Wardell's site for talking about the customization of Windows.

We’re getting a steady stream of new objects in.  Back when DesktopX was first made, we included a bunch of cool objects made by Paul Boyer.  That was 10 years ago.  So for DesktopX 4 we really want to revisit this with what can be done using today’s technology.

Stay tuned.

I have a lot of ideas for DX stuff that are just beyond my coding capabilities...unfortunately they were beyond the DX masters I talked too also. DX has so much potential...shame its not easier for thickheaded artist like me. Please dont ever stop developing tho...its a powerful app.

Not much I want to 'give' away...one of the simpler ones would have been a spinning black hole capable of destroying desktop icons(but sending them back thru a white hole.

All the others are much more difficult.

Video 8 was even better again.  Though mostly used for video cameras, I had a Video 8 player/recorder that recorded TV programmes with much better quality than VHS or Betamax.  I bought it mostly for editing my cam tapes, but it came in very handy for when a show we wanted to see was on and we happened to be out... just set the timer.

On another note: it's nice to see DX is getting some TLC/attention.
