Intros great! Let the fun begin!

on Sep 18, 2009

Preordered twice, at the very beginning of the year.  E-mailed [email protected] to try to confirm over 2 weeks ago.  No response to my inquiry; no key in the mail.  Anybody have any ideas???

Anyone remember the 'debate' about the need for a high-quality, pre-rendered intro movie?

Someone put up the intro video on YouTube so you can see it here:

So, 'Lord Frogboy', you going to be running around the office wearing a crown and making several unnecessary self-insertions into the game?  (please say no).

So I preordered, got the email, entered the info, and the beta isn't showing up on impulse once I registered.....am I doing something wrong or could it take a while?

The obvious question is have you ticked the 'Show Pre-Release Versions' box?

on Sep 19, 2009

Ah yes.  That one got me too.  They really should put that box in the normal menu as well, not just the blue one.

Even though I can't afford to buy the game right now (need paycheck ), I'm starting to see an interesting concept here.

I mean, I wouldn't mind paying for a game if I can play it like right now even as a beta, 6 months from release. It allows players to give some feedback and allows the company to get the highly needed money to polish the product/do whatever they want.

More companies should apply this concept.

Kudos to SD
