With the beta scheduled to go out TODAY I thought we should go over some of the game concepts here.

Now, as has been mentioned, the graphics for beta 1 are stripped far far down in order to focus on the core game play.

Now when you start out the game, it is just your sovereign. The world is largely covered up. As seen in this screenshot, you see the outline of land but not much else.

Eventually, you will come into contact with other players as you can see here.

Designing units (with weapons) revolves around 3 factors: How often they can attack, how much damage each attack can cause, and how much training time the selected weapon adds.

I was promised this thing would run on any computer but I don't think if my PC can handle those graphics, can you tone down anti-aliasing


Just got my Beta downloaded. Can't wait to dig into it but it'll have to wait for tomorrow night - gotta go to work tomorrow. Stupid work, only reason I got it is so I can buy games

Wow, Frogboy, seeing those screenshots really...uhm...Hertz.

What phase of the beta is this?

What's the frequency that we'll see updates?

Is there an NDA for this?  Do we have to cosine any agreements?
