messiah1, it's called an opinion. We all have them and can use them, whether YOU like it or not

I know what an opinion is and that everyone is entitled to it. I've no hard feelings toward you. Good day.

To comment again on this. VStyler...this will...for me at least...be one of those skins that will always reside on my PC. I have downloaded tons of skins...and not many actually get to stay in my WindowBlinds folder...but this is one of those that will. I think you did an excellent job on this Aero look...I have yet to find anything about this skin that I don't like. The best wood themed skin I have seen yet...Aero or not!

Thanks WG.. Wood isnt going to be everyones cup of tea but.. I think..hope I did the look ..justice.

I know what an opinion is and that everyone is entitled to it. But you don't have the right to tell anyone how to spend their time...PERIOD. Where are your skins by the way?

Did I TELL anyone how to spend their time?   Read it again. There is no disrespect. It is just a simple opinion that obviously you don't like. I don't see why you are so defensive or perhaps I do, but that's another story. As for your last comment, what difference does that make? Very strange comment

The problem is you will never make everyone happy.  I get complaints all the time that people want different versions of Aero, but when someone does one, someone complains they want something different.

This is a beautiful skin and I know a lot of hard work was put into it.

And from me, John, there is no disrespect meant. With my comments I was just 'challenging' the direction that Stardock are going with some of the 'free skins'. I like to 'challenge' from time to time as sometimes it gives 'food for thought' and opens other doors and thoughts which lead onto greater things. The skin you have made is quality, if not quite my taste. When it comes to your OWN designs you are always pushing the envelope when it comes to innovation, appeal and sheer quality. I know I speak for many people, like myself, who enjoy your work.

Yep, he's right. And 'this horse' was just suggesting a glance at another possible course

Frankly, Leo, I rather appreciate a solid core of skins that are very beautiful/useable. . . It is the skins with the fire-breathing dragons that should be the exception and not the rule!!

5 bloody well-deserved stars for this entire effort!! *****

I'v got an idea john, start working on a second version with a little lumberjack scaling the start panel. . . or a little pyromaniac striking a match at the base. . . the options are endless. LOL

Best Vista style skin to date IMHO. I have been using the skin half assed completed and it still wins out over almost all other skins. About time you finished it John.

I think Stardock deserves some kudos here...they hired the best Vista capable skinner to produce a small line of Aero specific skins.John had to werk within some pretty rigid guidelines and produced an Aero skin that even I would use.

And GAVE it to you.A classy move and a classy skin.
