Basically, you run this and it goes into your system tray. When there are ranked games available for you in your region, it will notify you. Then, just load up Ashes and join the multiplayer queue.

Wanted to get some feedback from you as to whether you think this would be a good idea or not.
After Escalation ships, we are considering creating a multiplayer only edition of Ashes of the Singularity (Tournament). You wouldn't be able to buy this version. Instead, everyone who buys either Ashes of the Singularity or Escalation would get 8 keys to give out to people. Those people could then download the Tournament edition.

Ok, so internally we've been playing on huge maps and another type of map size called massive.
Huge maps are (I believe) 4X larger than Large. Massive maps are 16X larger than the large maps. We won't support Massive in Ashes 1 (you have to have 4GB of video memory to run them and at least 6 CPU cores).
However, even on huge, yes, we are going to need a way to zoom out and see a strategic view of the map.

Your cutting laser has FOUR lights!
Click on the thumbnail to see the detail you get when running at high resolution. While 5K seems like a crazy resolution, even 4K monitors are already selling relatively inexpensively.
This second image is interesting because the resolution is high enough to see that each drone isn’t just some little dot but rather a full blown unit complete with hover pods and antena.

The next public update should have the Tutorial in it. We'll be looking for your feedback on it.
After that, we'll be heading towards release. Bug fixes, minor usability improvements, safe feature additions (we're testing engineer assist for instance)..
